Sakura-Ya, is the first and only establishment with restaurant, store and take-away service specialized in Japanese food.
Sakura-Ya, Sushi-Bar located in the Isla Diagonal shopping center in Barcelona. With more than ten years of experience, it is recognized for the quality of its cuisine made in full view of everyone by exclusively Japanese sushimans.
In our restaurant we also have a store with food products, kitchen utensils, Japanese ceramics and “Take Away” service.
Vegetarian and gluten-free options are available.
Romain Fornell opened the Caelis in 2004 and was awarded a Michelin star one year after opening.
In 2014, Caelis was ranked as a 2014 Gold Standard Restaurant by Conde Nast Traveler.
In 2017, the Caelis was moved to the Hotel Ohla Barcelona. This transfer marked a turning point in the kitchen of the establishment. With this new stage, it has become more contemporary, less classical
In November 2019, Caelis revalidates its Michelin star for another year. A star that continues to illuminate our tables and is synonymous with illusion.
The Caelis is a tasting menu restaurant (three menus are offered). Moreover, from Wednesday to Saturday is proposed the Caelis Menu, served at lunchtime and modified every week (48 euros TTC).
When you make your reservation, please tell us if you prefer to be seated at the bar facing the kitchen or at a table in the dining room so that we can take this into account. Nevertheless, we inform you that we will make the final decision on your location based on the total number of guests during the service and the demands of the moment.
For group reservations of 6 or more, we offer our group menus (adapted tasting menus). For this type of reservation, it is necessary to make an advance payment as a guarantee in order to avoid a no-show. We will contact you on the e-mail you indicate in order to manage your requests.

Caelis requires an appropriate dress code. Sportswear is not allowed, nor are shorts or sandals for men.

The Tablao de Carmen opened its doors in 1988 to pay homage to Carmen Amaya, internationally known flamenco “bailaora”. The Tablao presents a pure flamenco show of great quality, direct heir to the “flamenca” tradition.
